After obtaining his B.A. in political science at Marietta College and M.A. at the University of Kentucky, Scott graduated Baylor University cum laude with a J.D./Masters of Public Policy and Administration. Prior to graduating, Scott interned with the Travis County Attorney’s Office and Waco City Attorney’s Office. He was admitted to the Bar in 2015 and shortly thereafter joined PiperBurnett.

An avid theatre lover and performer, Scott acted in and directed many productions in college, both during his undergraduate and graduate years. At Marietta College, he acted in or directed 16 shows while a full-time student, while still making the Dean’s List. At the University of Kentucky, Scott acted in or directed nine shows and completed his master’s thesis on “Conservative Thought in Three Plays by David Mamet.”
